FUDPUCKER'S ON THE ISLAND

If you haven’t dined at Fudpucker’s in Ft. Walton Beach, what are you waiting for? The “Original” Fudpucker’s on Okaloosa Island features the same great menu of “Oral Delights” as the Fudpucker’s in Destin. And both Fudpucker’s locations have a reputation for large portions of delicious food served with a smile.

Locally owned and operated since 1982, Fudpucker’s isn’t like those national chains where the food is the same as you get back home. Fudpucker’s original recipes have been developed over the past twenty years with feedback from our regular customers. The result is that you’ll enjoy a uniquely flavorful dining experience (as well as a full plate) whenever you come to Fudpucker’s.

Fudpucker’s menu of Oral Delights features a delicious selection of both chargrilled and fried seafood entrees, a variety of mouth-watering chicken and steak dinners as well as an assortment of delectable pasta plates and specialty salads. Famous for the half-pound Fud Burger, Fudpucker’s selection of sandwiches, known as “Fuds & Puckers” is near legendary. And, even with warnings about how much food that is served for the main course, there is a full page of absolutely scrumptious appetizers for a raging appetite. If you can imagine still being hungry after eating all that, Fudpucker’s features a dessert menu that includes, amongst other things, their own, one-of-a-kind key lime pie (trust us when we tell you that you’ve never had a key lime pie that tastes this good).

With two different dining rooms and over 200 seats, Fudpucker’s on the Island can accommodate small and large parties alike. Of course, be prepared to wait if you come at dinnertime during the Spring and Summer months. However, unlike other places you can go to eat, there is plenty to do at Fudpucker’s while you wait to be seated. Every evening during the Spring and Summer months you can enjoy a cold drink outside on the deck while listening to local musicians playing acoustic guitar and singing Buffet tunes and other beach music. For the shopping enthusiast, there is the “Fudpucker T-Shirt Booth”, offering an entertaining assortment of Fudpucker clothing and souvenirs (see our Fudpucker Online Store).

For families who visit Fudpucker’s on the Island, there are a bunch of things for the kids to do. For the little “Puckers”, there’s a large (safety-engineered) playground right next to the deck. Also out on the deck are several state-of-the-art video games. Of course, perhaps more popular than anything else, kids can write their names on the walls for posterity!

Fudpucker’s has been serving families since 1983. We can proudly say that many people who came here as kids in the early years have grown up and now bring their kids to Fudpucker’s. In addition to all of the fun things to do before dinner, Fudpucker’s has a special “Little Puckers” menu designed specially for children under twelve. Of course, in addition to some great food, the menu has games and puzzles to entertain them while their food is being prepared. And when the meal is served, there’s a little FREE plastic toy to take home as a souvenir. With all that, it’s no wonder that Fudpucker’s is the most popular eatery on the Gulf coast for families!
