Gator Beach In Destin
With FREE ADMISSION and open year-round, Gator Beach is located at Fudpucker’s Beachside Bar & Grill in Destin, Florida and is a must-see for Destin area visitors!
Gator Beach is our most popular and exciting venue at Fudpucker’s in Destin. Located below Fudpucker’s Club Key West, Gator Beach gives you the chance to see over 80 live alligators, in an up close and personal environment. But, you’ll not only be able to see the gators, you’ll be able to feed them as well. That’s right – you can feed the live alligators at Fudpucker’s Gator Beach in Destin any time during normal business hours. Just attach a piece of specially formulated gator food (available in our “Gator Bait Shack”) to a cane pole and lower the food down into the pond. A portion of the proceeds from the gator food sales is donated to the Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge, a local non-profit wildlife protection organization. It’s easy, it’s safe, and above all it’s fun for the entire family. Stop and get your picture taken holding a live alligator while you’re there!
Gator Beach also has a series of exciting and educational gator shows each and every day featuring any one of our Gator Handlers. These shows are designed to tell you everything you ever wanted to know about these ultra cool creatures in an interactive format where the Gator Handlers answer questions from the audience.
In between shows, you can tour the Gator Museum and check out our special gator exhibitis, featuring rare alligators such as our albino alligator, Pearl. Albino alligators are extremely rare and Pearl is one of only 50 albino alligators in the whole United States! We also have “Mellow Yellow”, an alligator with a rare melanin deficiency that makes her yellow with black stripes, whereas most alligators are black with yellow stripes.
So, come on in and join the fun at Gator Beach at Fudpucker’s in Destin!
