Fudpucker’s strives to be the best restaurant in Destin. Despite the fact that we have been Famous for Food & Fun since 1982, we have had reviews that are less than stellar. At Fudpucker’s, we know that our customers are our most important asset, and that growing complacent in this ever-changing industry is the downfall of many restaurants. We truly love serving our customers the best food in town, and making sure each family has a memorable time with us. So, these negative reviews have prompted us to take a closer look at every phase of what we do, and to make some changes.
We are improving our service through enhanced training and by hiring the most friendly and capable employees in the area. Our servers will greet you and treat you like family and make sure you have the best time possible. We regularly reward exceptional employees and have chosen to involve our customers in this process – you can help your favorite server or bartender get the acknowledgement they deserve by mentioning their name in the posts you make to any of your favorite review sites. (By the way – if you are a FUN person who is energetic, hardworking and wants to be part of a great team please let us know as we are always looking for GREAT staff members.)
We have also changed our menu to include some of the most unique and outstanding casual fare available on the Emerald Coast. Stop by and try our latest creations: Alligator Gumbo and “Gator Balls” – Fresh Alligator mixed with lean pork and special spices then breaded and fried just right, served with our signature sweet remolade sauce. They are to die for! If shrimp is your favorite, try the Stuffed Shrimp Parmesan – Gulf shrimp stuffed with crabmeat dressing and topped with white Parmesan cheese sauce, lemon and Pico de Gallo then broiled to perfection. Another thing we are doing to be the best restaurant in Destin is to focus on our signature item – the World Famous Fudburger. Father Fud uses only 100% Choice American beef that is basted with a signature sauce and chargrilled to order. Taking it a step further, the Fudburger is then topped with a garlic and onion spread and served on a bakery fresh roll with all the fixins, including “Sensual Sauce”, a proprietary blend of mayonnaise, Creole mustard and honey.
Fudpucker’s also puts an emphasis on FUN! We have been focused on bringing smiles to the faces of our customers since we first opened in 1982, and that focus is a key ingredient to this day. Our unique slogan “Ya Aint Been Pucked til Ya Been Fudpucked” says it all – where else in the world can you feed live alligators and get your picture taken holding one, write on the walls, play at Fat Daddy’s Arcade, AND find GREAT shopping at the Fudpucker Trading Company?
